What is .45 acp brass selling for?

You lucky ?&!###?

tagged for interest...I have thousands

Started out with about 500 .45ACP brass and after the last two weeks, had to dispose of 1/5 due to larger cracks developing. Been shooting most of this brass since April. Must be on the 7th cycle.
Would a fellow dog afficionado want to help out us more unfortunate?????
Even a couple of hundred goes a long way!!!!

You're doing something very wrong. How hot are you loading? Maybe you are belling the cases too much? Crimping too hard?

45acp brass should last until you lose it, or step on it too hard that the die won't fix it. I've not lost (to cracking) a single piece yet, some of mine are on their 8th or 9th trip through the Glock. The only thing I ever do that wrecks mine, is sometimes in the press, bad stuff happens and the get crumpled. Seriously, 7 loads is just getting warmed up for 45 brass.

And to the original question, $100 per 1000. You can sell it really quick for less, or if you're patient, you can probably get as much as $130, but it'll take a lot longer than $100.

Just loading to achieve PF. Averaging around 820 - 850 fps using 200gr. SWC & 5.3 grn. W231. No +P loads here!
Failed to mention, most of my .45 brass started as used multiple times. Very few (max 50) started as "once fired".
Time to save coin and make that brass purchase. Just can't get away from shooting a .45. Ammo with character!!!!!:canadaFlag::ar15:

I have 200 cases that I have loaded over 35 times.

I consider that one of the beauties of the .45 acp.

Little leading with casting and eternal ( well okay - half-eternal) cases.

I will toss a bunch out when cracks start appearing, but this is after VERY many reloadings (30??) Usually, the headstamp is bashed to the point of non-recognition by then - I'm sure someone at the range is scooping them up, but they owe me nothing at this point. The last 1F I bought was about $75.00 for 500 (R-P nickle plated) at a show

The last 2K I got were free! You read that right.....free!! :D :D
Now, they're small primer, and I have about 3K+ of large primer ones to lose before I get around to those.
