What is a better deal to buy in Canada instead of the US?

The barrel will likely be something in the USD150-300 range. As I look around further, it will probably be a Faxon or BA Hanson series. MK12 uppers cost $1200 which is more than I am willing to spend on the entire rifle.

10,000 round is about $3K depending on the mix of 223 and 45. Throw in another $500 for the AR parts, and it adds up quick.

why bring in ar stoner barrel? is it any good? might as well bring back something exotic like real mk12 upper or something.

The Colt parts are intriguing - yes they are more expensive but I know they'll be perfect. Thanks for the idea.

AN stuff might not get an export permit and I have little use for it.
The Leupold is intriguing, but damn, that's pricy!
The Valmet might be an SBR which wouldn't be legal for me to possess without a tax stamp! And holy crap, I see some of them are going for $15k.

While the thought of temporarily becoming the biggest deal on the EE does seem appealing, I somehow doubt the State Department is going to buy the story that I have a few dozen 80% frames as personal property :)

Besides, they are not guns, so anybody can just go over the border and buy em!

As it stands, I am planning on importing my receivers, barrel, 2 parts kits and as much ammo as my truck will hold.
