I am looking to put a compact scope on my newly acquired svt 40. I have this notion of taking her out hunting.
Anyway, I don't want to spend a huge amount, and I need it to be compact (under 9" should work). I have an idea that one of the myriad of compact scopes made for SKS's or AK's might do the trick, but it would have to be one that can take some kick. Though the recoil on the svt 40 is surprisingly light. So what I am looking for here are suggestions about which of the compact scopes might work. Any help would be appreciated.
