What is a good single point sling for 590 a1

Make sure you interview him and take lots of pics. Perhaps a CGN Q&A !

Quality idea,
as for the sling, I've got this guy

I find it well positioned and if (for whatever reason) you wanted to switch sides, not a big deal, similar mount available for the 590 (for the OP). Throw a mash hook on the sling and you're off to the races.

Heres a question for those who have run both 2 pt adjustable and 3 pt slings on shotguns: Which do you prefer and why? It seems like a 2 point mounted infront of the forend may get in the way of my support arm, while a 3 point could get that mounting point further back to keep the sling out of my way. Im talking about running the sling over strong shoulder and under weak side arm. Thoughts?

Thats my shotty - rigged with the VCAS and buttstock adapter I purchased from One Shot.

This shotgun has a job - looking after my dog and myself while fishing rivers with densities of Grizzlies.

Away from the river itself, I carry it conventionally - over a shoulder, or slung across my back. However, when I'm actually moving along the river - often along bear trails - it slings across my chest using the "quick adjustment buckle" to shorten the sling and keep it tight to my body, making climbing over dead-fall and though snaggy vegetation easier.

Should it be needed, however (and to this point it hasn't been!) - a quick pull on the adjustment buckle lengthens the sling and the shotgun is to my shoulder in a heartbeat. Its a truly fine piece of kit.
