i have one im going to sell and i see them for sale in the states for several thousand dollars..but of coarse thats where they are more popular...mine is better then most of the ones ive seen on sites in the US ...
bore is minty bright shiney 3 groove (burnside)
still has cartouche on stock
60% finish with nice brownish patina
1865 Burnside ...only made about 30,000 rifles near the end of civil war
super tight action
no dents in tube
stocks in fantastic shape just a couple dents
the negative
the saddle ring and bar were removed many years ago prolly by a left hand shooter...not uncommon
the part is availible down south for 150.00 U.S.
