I payed 300 CAD for a "supergrade" that i hand picked from cabelas last year....... numbers matching, laminate, non refurb probably never issued, 100% mint condition. Very happy with the purchase! however i agree that the title "supergrade" is more of a marketing scam, for there were other less than stellar "supergrade" SKS rifles in that store lol

Seems there is no standard - like people call them super grade to make more money, not because they are such. What do you consider a super grade SKS, selling at quite a premium? All matching, clean, blued...?

Super grade makes me laugh because they used to all be "super grade" a few years ago.

There is no supergrade SKS.

They have all been #%$$ed with the mag - Frankenpinned, Gold Bayonetted, Fake Wood Stamps, and Fake Blued finish. Worst trigger of all centerfire rifles with the exception of Turkish shotguns.

I have a '54 that looks just like that. I checked to confirm all #s match, didn't bother to clean it, wrapped it up in garbage bags and threw it in the back of my safe.

I have always considered the VZ58 to be a super grade sks, lol (joking of course)
