What is a Winchester model 64A worth?

Good condition. Even though it is a post 64 a Winchester collector would probably be interested. The 64A was a very low production number rifle. I have always felt that many of the post 64 rifles will be worth significant money some day. I good guy could touch up the barrel end so it is hardly noticeable. Value to the right guy probably around $750. My 2 cents.
I bought one of these 64A's in 1972, brand new with a nice canvas case and a box of silver tips for $99.00 at a sports shop in Toronto. I was saving up for an engagement ring at the time and spent a good chunk of the cash on this gun. I shot a few deer with it but a lever gun was not my cup of tea and it sat in the gun cabinet for years. I sold it in the mid 90's for $400 bucks and almost felt guilty.
I think the 64A was only made for the one year, and yours looks in nice shape except for the barrel boo boo, so it would not seem unreasonable to ask $750 for it.

Namely the 25th editiin of Blue Book on Gun Values a 100% rated gun would go for $400.00
This would be in US $$ of course.
The gun would be a 1972-74 manufacture, 5 shot, 2/3 tube mag.,24 inch barrel open sight and pistol grip.
This is old out dated info.
Take it for what it is,was worth.

I dont see it commanding $750 with that significant barrel blemish. Personally, I would be in the $550-600 range, tops.

Well I guess when I sold mine the dealer I dealt it at was using FLHTCUI's edition of the gun values book. M-64's pre or post 64 were not made in the vast numbers that 94's were. A pre 1964 M- 64 will command a high value than a 94 of same condition. I see no reason this would not carry over into the post 1964 period. The rust blemish on this gun should definitely be addressed before attempting to offer it for sale.
