What is a XDM?

The xdm isn't built like a glock.

The build quality is on a par with a Sig Pro

IMHO, Sigs and HKs are nice but over priced.


I have only 4 pistols.

The build quality would go.
1. CZ-75B stainless
2. XDM-40 stainless slide
3. SigPro SP2022
4. G17

Maybe the XDM isn't a high end pistol to some but out of the box. It's not a bad deal for what you get. (assuming you want a holster magloader useable case etc)

Is CZ's build quality the reason they have a machine in the factory to cycle the slide hundreds of times to wear burrs off their completed pistols?

Build quality is difficult to quantify...but CZ is not a known world leader in this arena.

If you think the XDM has so-so build quality, close your eyes if you ever encounter the plain XD lol
