My High Standard The Victor is slightly more accurate than my '65 S&W 41 using match ammo. The M41 is slightly more accurate when using CCI SV only.
 
OP, the fact that Harry Callahan just chimed in reminds me that he is selling a like new Pardini in .22lr on the EE. If it is not sold already, that might be interesting to you.

I'd have to say the best .22 isn't a pistol, it's a revolver. ;) Both my 1941 Colt Officer's Model Target and my '54 Officer's Model Match are pretty hard to beat...as is my '49 S&W K-22 Masterpiece.

However, if you insist on one of those newfangled autos I don't think you could go far wrong with either the S&W Model 41 or the Browning Medalist.
 
Really it comes down to what you're going to use it for and what fits your hand best. All you listed are great pistols. Handle which ever you can and see which one follows you home
 
If you are looking for 22LR to sharpen your shooting skill, I would go for TC-Contender. This thing has a rifle accuracy. Do not know price lately, but expect to pay about half of the price for S&W 41.

For excellent pistol, as other suggested S&W 41. The only fly in the ointment; they are not cheap, even old ones.

For a very nice plinker, I like Browning Challenger II, look for one with adjustable sights. NOTE: Challenger II is the last one with steel frame, III and up are with aluminum one. Delight to shoot, not too heavy, IMHO, the best bang for the buck in 22LR. If you do not like heavy barrel pistol, this is the one to have.
 
Of the guns you listed, S&W 41 by a long shot. Look for an older one (i.e. pre-early 90's) , as they are cheaper and better quality than the new productions guns.

SW 41 is my choice as long as its a pre 90s model. Ruger Mk IV shoots good and easier to clean. I have a Browning Buckmark Contour which is also a keeper. Also mentioned was a VQ version of Ruger which is insanely good, but pricey. From a price point of view, Browning Buckmark, then Ruger Mark IV, older SW41 and the VQ series of pistols. By accuracy using SV round, it will be the shooters hand that will dictate the winner. But by ransom rest and using Target Load, I am for SW 41 and VQ.
No offense meant to owners... safe shooting!
 
As someone who was there in the 1970s, and owned a Browning Medallist, and shot it a great deal in target competitions, I can tell you that this was a pistol that was second to none. Very, very accurate.

The S&W 41 and the High Standard Victor and Supermatic Citation were it's equal, and in fact, the S&W 41 seemed to do a little better in our club competitions, in the right hands.

The Ruger Mark 1 did okay but was hampered by a poor trigger and not having target grips, and simply being made to a price.

The Buckmark is rubbish. A sad inferior descendant of the proud line of the high quality Medallist, Challenger, and Nomad Brownings.
