What is everyones Favorite / go to powder for 9MM

I've had good results with WW231 and Accurate Arms #7.
I will be trying some CFE Pistol when I get a chance.

231 and WSF have been my go to powders for some time with the 9mm and .45. Tried CFE recently. Meh. Nothing special and WSF groups better. A year ago, when I couldn't get WSF or 231 I gambled with an unknown powder (for me) and bought it because that's all there was. It was Longshot and it has been great in my 9mm's. Clean, economical, and accurate.

Oh my, a few guys say tightgroup is dirty. I thought others said it was supposed to be clean.

Tightgroup is a cheap and fast powder, works excellect, however burns very dirty.

My vote goes to Vihtavuori n320

I find for the $7 more per 1000 rounds it is the cleanest burning and most accurate powder for 9mm you can buy... as an example you don't even 'need' to clean the brass if you didn't want to vs blacken'd brass with Tightgroup, it's worth it for me not to have a filthy gun and potential stoppage during competition if you neglected to clean your gun prior.

I find that N320 is my preferred powder as well, but unfortunately it is both expensive and often hard to find. When I can find it, I pay the extra and that is what I get. It is clean, accurate and for some reason I find it "just works" in my CZ SP-01 better than anything else.

When I can't get N320, I default to Titegroup as my go to "Plan B".

5.3 grains of unique. I like unique because it is almost impossible to overfill or double charge

That load with a 124gr SWC always worked well in my Glock & CZ.

I use titegroup and it's been awesome but after seeing this thread I'm wanting to try N320

Titegroup for practice. Cheap but meters like crap.

N320 for competition. Meters well. Burns well. I believe almost every factory team uses it.

3n38 for my special loads. 6.9gr under a 147gr XTP @ 1.14" will fly at about 1100-1125 fps. No pressure signs.

I recently tried a bunch of CFE pistol and was amazed by how well it cleaned my barrel! Did a brief cleaning with some bore cleaner and it literally looks like glass now. Haven't experienced that yet. I'm going to be adding it to the rotation for that purpose alone. Downside with CFE and other gassy powders is they generate more recoil. I find a 147 being driven at 830 fps by CFE feels the same as a 147 being driven by Titegroup at 870-880 fps. This obviously has implications for competition.

This is my go to. Only problem is unique is difficult to find. Good for shotgun as well.

PowerPistol for power loads

Universal for a general purpose powder for medium to hot loads.

I use red dot,simply because I have lots of it,also works well in reduced rifle loads with cast bullets.
