Unless I am mistaken Boyd's stocks are not cut to fit meaning if you simply bolted the 2 together than you have probably found your problem. Boyd's stock's arrive as a rough estimate of what will fit and it is up to you to identify and shave the stock at the unwanted contact areas. Basically its up to you to fit the stock. Any bedding and floting is then up to you. I'm not saying this is the problem but it just may be that your action and barrel are actually making very little contact and the whole thing is just rattling. If you did fit the stock than look to see if maybe you missed a spot.
