When I wanted a rough brush gun I found a Savage No4 Mk1 2 groove.
I then chopped it at 19 inch's and put a side carring sling.
For a tough finish I wiped it down with gasoline a couple time's and let it dry in the sun for a day.
I then put it in the oven at around 200F for a couple hour's and when I pulled it out I sprayed it with flat black Tremclad.
I did all that when I was 18-19, I'm 44 now and it's still on there.
