I’ll be returning to an estuary near Vancouver for my second season of waterfowl hunting in a few weeks. I would like to contribute to the decoy spread this year and I am wondering what you guys have out there. Not brand specific but rather animal. I’ll be hunting mallard, snow and Canada. Should I have examples of each in my spread or just pick one and hope the others come along?
Thanks all.

It depends on the time of year and the species I’m hunting. Early season, I have teal, wood duck, mallard, blacks and Canada goose decoys out. In my spread, I’ll also throw in some goose and mallard feeder decoys as well as a mojo mallard. Once the teal and woodies are gone, I’ll eliminate those decoys from the spread. In late season, my spread gets smaller as birds tend to become more decoy shy. Once I start targeting diving ducks, I’ll use Bufflehead decoys mixed in with some mallard and goose decoys
