What is it with guys needing pics of guns??

you go to a store to buy things you want to see & touch the item. if you cannot see or fondle things then a pic is the next best thing

There was a time when all of us used to say "I wish I could see a pic of that before I paid for it".
Now it's easy as pie and you're all whinging and whining about it.
So for goodness sake just take some good pics, post them with the ad and if someone PMs you and says "Can I see some more," just reply "Sorry, they're the only ones I have."
One thing is for sure, I wouldn't buy anything without seeing pics, not because I think you're bunch of unscrupulous charlatans, but because I like to see what I'm buying, whether it's new, old or somewhere in between.
Now lets leave this storm in a teacup and talk about something serious and important, like what's happened to Gatehouse's spear bear hunt attempt.:p

on another note here..ive been in the nutz room for a bit...i have grown to learn of the some of the good guys you can trade or buy from with out a fear of hesitation...if your a newbie here... it would help me tons to see a pic of what you are talking of..i dont know you or no else can vouch for you..if you want to sell or trade a pic would tell a million words..
cheers all
Don

I agree with the notion that if you're gonna sell online you should have pictures available. I found that the guns I sold online would not have gone or have gone as quickly without the pictures I took.

Pics are a must. Before I had a digital camera I used scanned pics I had taken before (I always took photos and kept them just in case I needed them for insurance purposes).
Now that I have the digital camera it's been even more helpful. I can show any specific scratches or marks that I mention on the post to clarify how minor they are. Also, if the buyer wants to see some specific component it can be done in a minute.
