I have an Eagle Arms National Match action master, I bought the gun brand new in 1993 have shot 65 rounds through it. This gun was made prior to Armalite buying Eagle Arms when they made great quality rifles. It is a flat top receiver one of the first on the market, Douglas premium air gauged 20" barrel, Aluminum free float handguard, national match trigger, fixed A2 stock, and muzzle compensator from factory. In the US it is probably worth more because of it being a pre-ban receiver. I have been checking around and can't find any for sale to get a comparison. I know I paid big dollars for it back in 1993

what is this?
an auction?
put it for a price you think is fair, let me give you a hint, dont put it up for more than what you paid for it.
see if it sells
if it doesnt, lower price
repeat if necessary

I think he's asking if there's a premium on Eagle Arms National Match.

And yes, it's turning in to an auction, of sorts. It need to be nipped, or put in its own forum. jmo

I not thinking about selling, have been considering doing some changes to the rifle, but I wanted to find out if this is something that is valuable enough and should be left alone. I can always buy another rifle and make the changes to that one instead

do you think it has value? value is determined by market, seller and buyer

you know the highest valued rifle in my gun safe, the one I would actually sob if I sold it or it got stolen has a market value of say 400$.
a winchester model 94 1962
but i wouldnt sell it for 50000$, my father thought me to shoot with it in the new brunswick backwoods in the 80s

Make what changes you want. Eagle Arms rifles have no particular collector value. Pre-ban/Post-ban are US terms that have little meaning for the Canadian firearms market. Without seeing your rifle, I'd estimate a value of $1000-$1200 if sold in the EE and in NRA VG-EXC condition.
