A chinese SKS, 56. By markings it was from factory 26 and was made in 1968.
As you can see by the pictures, it is in like new condition.
Would anyone know the approximate going price for it.

$150 shipped would move it reasonably quick. They're $169 new from Weimajack.

And contrary to EE wisdom, adding a Tapco stock, Chinese 4x receiver cover scope and removing the bayonet doesn't triple the value.

You guys are al talking about the Russian SKS.
I am talking about the Chinese, which are considerable different and yes, that is original sling.
I am well aware of the Russian ones and who can come up with the cheapest price on them.
I just thought someone may have seen a Chinese one sold recently.

Like he said marstar sells them for 75 $ with a overpriced case of ammo, so really 175$ is what its worth shipped... it to cheap just keep the gun its seems nice what the hell are you going to do with so little money? Plus your probably going to regret it after;)

How are the Chinese considerably different? Better materials?

Last time I checked, the Russian SKS command a higher price over the Chinese models.

A box stock Chinese OR Russian SKS isn't worth more than $200, period. There are a few unusual variants that are less common but still shouldn't command a price much higher than that. Yugos, Albanians, SKS-Ds, etc. are exceptions.

Your Chinese SKS is a dime a dozen in Canada, bought my first one decades ago from Century International Arms for less than a hundred bucks. Take a glance at the EE if you're in doubt.

He's talking about a Factory 26 Chinese SKS, which was apparently the first production facility using the machinery transferred from the USSR. The super cheap ones that are practically given away are newer, from different factories.

People who care about these things do think it makes a difference. However, there has not yet been much universal interest generated in collecting Chinese SKS-56 by variants. Well-known dealer weimajack sold one recently on the EE for $200. Shame this market isn't the U.S.A.; yours looks nice.

It's worth $175.00 plus shipping

I say keep it, they're damn reliable and cheap to shoot. The gun is worth more than it's worth, if you understand where i'm coming from.

It's like that Enfield that you can only get $150.00 for, it's worth a lot more as a gun in your closet than the watered down market pays. This isn't because Enfields suck, it's just there's so many of them.
