I have a 3rd Gen Glock 17 with the factory barrel with 2550 FMJ factory rounds. I have been using hoppes number 9 and clp to clean the barrel.

While looking down the barrel from a different angle (slightly to the side) looks like copper streaks following the groves. Bought some gunslick foaming bore cleaner, and the foam was white.....did not turn blue to indicate copper. I also tried some Hoppes Elite Copper Terminator.

Looking straight down the barrel and it is very bright.

Could this be copper thats being difficult?

If there was that much copper in it why didt the foam go blue? Also, the barrel is so bright looking down it, wouldnt it be dull due to the copper?

The ammo used was American Eagle, S/B, and Win USA. Could it be brass instead of copper then? What would be the best method to get it out?
