Thought it might be interesting to get an idea what people shoot and how many pieces they bring along. Average day at the range for me is a practice PPC course of fire (150 rounds) with my Sig 9mm plus another 50 rounds to work on what I screwed up, then 8 to10 mags in my Kimber .45 to keep me honest. I don’t always shoot my revolvers the same day but usually I will bring along the Python or 686 for a box or two of .38 spl. fun with maybe a dozen rounds of .357 to keep my hand in. On special occasions my 1960 Old Model SBH might see 10 rounds of .44 mag which lets me know that gloves are not a bad thing.

Today I travelled light: one brick of .22, and my Ruger Mk. 1 with the new Hogue grips. They were sold as Mk.2, but fit the Mk.1 perfectly, and I found they really make a difference compared to the original plastic chequered grips. They just feel better in the hand, and I seemed to shoot better today, although I wasn't keeping score- just plinking at the reactive steel targets.
Another fun day with the whole range to myself....

Usually I'll bring my shotgun with slugs and a bunch of 00 buck, to stay on top of things and never go without my CZ 75 and 300 - 400 rounds of 9mm, which I usually run through some barricade drills, steel (my favorite), and it's always fun to incorporate something new....keeps you humble.

On days where I'm feeling like staying a bit longer, I'll bring the ol' Lever Action Marlin.

Long 3hr drive. Way too much stuff with. 100-200rds for the 9mm and the 32acp maybe 100 through the 22lr(sold now:() 100+rds at 300yards with the target rifle and all the rest through the AR at various ranges. When all the ammo is gone back to the short range and finish off the day with the krink 10/22 and steel plates. Then a long drive home(all day event)
Mostly leave the shotgun out for the gravel pit days.. Slugs and water bottles or 7.5 and speed drills.
If its a Tactical match then I will be smiling:D Need lots of those next year!

Usually take both 40's and my desert eagle 50. First I do IPSC and try to get my speed up without too much loss of accuracy....which may never happen. But I try. Then with that out of the way I shoot the 50 and let anyone who wants to take some shots. After a more serious practice I find I really relax when I shoot the big gun. I also do photography so you might look for my post above......"desert eagle flame thrower".

I usually take my Glock 17 and one long gun, maybe 2 but I don't usually have time for two long guns. If I know I have time I shoot rifle first, usually 10-20 rounds unless it's .22, then I shoot maybe 100-200. Then I shoot 150-300 rounds of 9mm, mainly practicing RCMP course of fire, and focusing on stage 1/2. I'm usually getting full points on 3-5, so I just practice those enough to keep up on things.

Usually one rimfire and one centerfire.

Outside pistols: 9mm. Usually two to 4 boxes of ammo (100 to 200 rounds).
I start with one of my Ruger MKIII target pistols and end with one.

Inside: 9mm, Ruger MKIII target pistol (usally the modified Hunter), and a .22 rifle for 25 yards benchrest.

Outside rifles: one centerfire rifle and one rimfire.

This seems to work for me. I get a full morning that's not too expensive and it's a lot of fun.
