What is Reloder 19 good for?

RL 19 is hard to beat in the 338 Win Mag, using 210 and 225 grain bullets.
It is quite similar in burn rate to Norma 204, and is quite versatile, being
just a bit slower burning than H4350.
I have used it with success in a number of chamberings from the 6mm up
to the 338. D.

It is a powder for slow burning magnum cartridges. Go to the Alliant powder sight and look it up, they will give you all common loading's.

Just did some trial loads for 257 Roberts and 120gr bullets.
The RL 19 at 44.5 - 45.0 grains of powder looks very promising!

"I use it with 150 Partitions in my 7x57. Also in my 338 Win Mag with 225 Accubonds." (potashminer)
Appears to be more versatile than just a belted magnum powder.

I'm just starting to work with a 338 Win Mag. I'l have to try the RL 19 in that.

Full load of R19, 208 gr Amax, BC 650+, pushing the pill just south of 2600 fps in my 24 inch H&K SSG3000 308. This is my 1K load.

I use RL19 for 243 Win with 70 and 75gr projectiles and 6.5x55 with 140 gr projectiles, it works really well I would recommend it.

I use it for 7mm-08 and 145, 154, and 160 grain bullets. I switched when I went to Lapua brass because I didn’t have the base capacity for RL16 like I had in nosler brass. And 19 is easier to find than 16
