What is the best 300 mag out of the box gun for long range.

Pay attention to what ATRS said. Rem 700 leaves many options open for upgrading. That being said, I've also got a Savage 110 LRH, they come in 300WM (mine is 338LM, basically same gun) shoots sub-moa with reloads, groups stay tight out to 1,050 yds so far. The stock is basically junk, lol, but upgrades can be had. Detachable box mags are a plus on this gun, 5 rounds stock, 10 round mags available. The muzzlebrake is great too.

I went with a 300 rum in a mod 700 sender and one in an hs precision. also got a 300 wby. All fit the bill nicely, just depends how much u want to spend
