I am really new to pistol and have owned a cz75 and a S&W model 19 but now I think I want a 9mm pistol and take the time to learn to shoot it well then maybe a 1911. So what 9mm is the best one out there for your money ?? There are so many and reading some of the posts around here some are obviously junk.

Best for what? At what price? Sports? Sitting in the safe? CCW?

Kinda broad question bud...

I need to learn to read. Anyways you should just take the time to look instead of asking a question that has been asked a million times.

Apparently our previous posts are "obviously junk". Honestly though the search function wishes it was good enough to lick the sweat off my balls.

Best bang for the buck. Glock 17 or M&P 9mm for poly. CZ75 or IMI Baby Eagle for steel. Just my 2 cents!

There are better guns but I feel for the 6-700 dollar range these are by far the best.

If you plan to shoot enough, be like a lot of us and search the EE for that perfect used one. Found and bought a couple used CZ's since I joined in March. First one (CZ85 Combat) arrived and was barely fired (saved $200 vs. buying new from a dealer). Just won last week and paid $450 for an older CZ75 (that's only $50 more than a brand new Norinco P226 clone with taxes). The EE seems to have something to fit every budget. Before deciding, go to your range and if you see guys shooting something you are after, ask them what they think about it. Most of us will readily let you have a few rounds to "get the feel". good luck!!!!:canadaFlag::sniper:

Best thing to do is try a few out at your range.
If you are down Penticton way let me know i have a couple of glocks i would let you try.As for the 1911 style i had a sti trojan a sti ranger II.Sold them both but they are well worth the money.

9mm 1911's like the STI ranger II are really good guns.

Accurate, low recoil, lasts FOREVER due to frame being built for .45.
Parts readily available and gun is easy to detail strip.

Heck I don't even shoot my .45 ACP 1911 anymore since the 9mm is so much more fun and cheaper to shoot.

that being said I really love my LEM HK p2000 in 9mm. I seem to shoot it better than anything else including my 3 HK P7M8's!!! And only half the cost of a P7M8!!!
