What is the best brush gun you've ever used?

best brush gun

marlin 336 in 35 rem, 200 grain core loks
Rifle is nice and compact, quick to shoulder and have many many bang flops with it.

by bush rifle i assume you mean light and quick to mount. win.mod.94, marlin 336, ruger .44 mag. are all good rifles to carry. anywhere from .30-30. .35 rem. to .44 mag.as far as a brush cutting bullet, there all about the same regardless of caliber, meaning they'll only go so far through brush and i've never found one to be any better than the other.

I have two that qualify, Marlin 336XLR in 30-30 and Marlin .444. I haven't taken a deer or moose with either, but I'm working on it.

My fav has always been my Savage 99 in 308 with either the open sights or now I have a 2.5 power scope on it.
Its light and easly to handle in the heavy bush, more than adequate caliber, and I love hunting with the lever action

Brush Guns?

Browning BLR .308 Win with a Leupold M8 4x scope. Wish I'd kept her.

Currently have a 1959 vintage Savage 99F in .308 Win with a Leupold VXII 2-7x33mm for the same duty.
