I stand to be corrected.

Who was making them?

I would of loved to have full size Glock shooting 9mm.

How bad were reliability issues?

EFK Firedragon. I've never had one myself tho...

Probably discontinued due to the fast that there are no 9mm mags that fit those guns.

I own a Gen 4 G17 and have the RONI carbine kit for it and I really like it but my favorite is my G21 which I also have a 10mm conversion barrel for. I also have a G21SF waiting in the mail which I'm sure I will like just as much, maybe more, and I am very excited to get home and play with it (come on Tuesday, why are you taking so long to get here?).

Something about the G21 just feels good. I can't explain it but it makes me smile when I hold it.

I think my next one will be the Gen 4 G20.
Anyone want to sell one? :)

Isn't that kinda like asking whether it's better to be kicked in the nuts rather than punched in the face??? :) jklol.

I like my Gen 4 G17.
The grip on the gen 4 is noticeably better than previous generations.

which is the best Glock?
we might as well vote on what is the best calibre.
I voted "other" cuz the 19 wasn't listed.
its the one i've depended on and shot the most.

Glock 'n Roll

I prefer 22 over 17 because you can get a 9mm barrel for it and shoot both calibers which is what I do with my G22 and 23... I'd still like to have a G17 because I'm too lazy to swap the barrel :)

An argument can be made for all models so OK heres the guidelines ;
Were Canadians so concealment is not an option so I don't see a point to sub or compact series to be listed , and we can't take these hunting - so RANGE USES is what we have to work with.
Throw cost of ammo and pistol out the window *** NOT WHATS CHEAPEST TO SHOOT ***
so were left with to consider - comfort , power , recoil / prolonged usage , cosmetics ( oh this outta get a few hairs up :) ) , stock features , and plain fun factor
- just want to see what comes out on top - " what IS the best Glock " considering this criteria

so lets here ya

Based on your criteria... out of the two Glocks I own (Gen3 G17 and Gen4 G21) the "best" Glock is the Gen4 G21.

Hello:

Yes I do, it is a Lone Wolf Distributors barrel.

Chizzy

I am quite interested, and surely others would like to know which magazines are you using, or is it single shot Glock. ;)

And to stay on the subject with this thread, I am biggest fan of Glock 24 and Glock 20 being close second. :)

Okay, let's try this experiment. Grab an empty 10mm Glock 20 magazine along with a box of your favourite 9mm ammunition. Insert one cartridge at a time until full. Empty the magazine out one cartridge at a time while counting each round. What number did you come up with for your final tally? I am going to guess that your Glock 20 magazines held your 9mm cartridges in place without a problem.

Fitting answer to my smart- ass question.

Now, all I gotta figure out is where to get that mysterious 9mm conversion barrel for Glock 20, as Lone Wolf does not list it on their site.

If I manage that, Glock 20 it is... the best of them all.

Cheers,
Dan
