Since Smith&Wesson doesn't make an M&P in 10mm, I guess I'd go for a G20.
As with french-kissing a pretty girl with missing teeth, I'm sure I'd eventually get used to the feel of the grip and weird trigger....

My vote went to the G22, I have one and put a few mods to the gun and it shoots like a dream. The trigger pull now is 2.5-3 lbs and with new springs and a bunch of other little mods make it rocks. I have big hands as well do I prefer the full size and I'm a big fan of .40cal, I do have a lone wolf conversion barrel that allows me to shoot 9mm. Can't say enough positive things about this gun. I would love to try a g35 at some point.

well my glock 35 is gone , but I have replaced it with 2 new ones . Added to the ranks now is the Gen4 G22 with a ZEV aluminum trigger & trijicons as well as a Gen3 G22 all stock

Carry? Glock 30 or Glock 36 with laser assist and Trijicon night sights.
Home Defense? ANY glock will do. Add laser assist and Trijicon night sights at factory and perhaps a NY1 trigger (reliability)
Competition? Glock 34/35 with adjustable target sights
There is a Glock for everything and choosing one is fairly simple... just get your hands on one to shoot before buying it. Making sure it fits nicely into your hand, etc., is critical.
