Hey guys,

Yes I know its been asked before but with the loss of Canpar/Loomis during the pandemic what is the easiest method? I have about 15lbs of 7.62 to ship to myself as I am moving in 3 weeks. I checked out Purolator and its definitely not straight forward, I cant get the right DG codes to come up, basically a dogs breakfast.

Could someone recommend an easier way?

Thanks!

Dustin

I think it's only Purolator and UPS that will ship ammo in Canada.

I'd phone your local depot tomorrow rather than struggle with their websites.

You need a Purolator business account to ship ammo and you have to fill out the shipping information online to create the shipping label (to print off and tape to your package). You can either drop the shipment off at a Purolator office or schedule a pickup. The applicable Dangerous Good code to choose is "Limited Quantity" and you need to tape a Dangerous Goods label to the package. it is not particularly user friendly but it is doable to ship ammo "privately".

Depends on the amount I guess...
