Hey everyone I have a sks and I am getting a T6 stock for it also but i am wondering what would be a good scope for it for a distances of 50 - 100 or 150 yards? I dont really care what type of scope but I have been told a red dot scope would be good for the gun.

Thanks Mark

With your SKS it probably shouldn't have any magnification. To tell you the truth a cheap Tasco one would probably do you. If you want something bulletproof that you won't have to worry about go for an Eotech.

Russian side mount with a POSP fixed mag 4x24 with 400 meter range finder and bullet drop markings on the lens.

Kalinka optics has them.

I say side mount as IMHO after much testing I found that the majority of the receiver cover mounts are junk.

Also as another poster said a simple red dot would work well.

Gets some matte olive- green krylon and spray out a toilet paper roll, gets some tape and mount it near the end of the barrel!

You forgot a crosshair.....

-Drill (you can use a needle) four small holes in the roll at the far end in order to tie off the ends of the thread.
-Use black thread in a thickness of your choosing.
-This will give you a sort of trailer park fine duplex that will enable you to shoot deer unimaginable distances .

:D
