I couldnt think of any place else to put this. My mom has a skunk living under her deck. the thing is stinking up the place. What is the best way to get him out of there. If getting him out involves killing him thats ok as long as he doesnt die under there. Thanks in advance for your help.

Sulfur bomb. Its a stick that you light and it smolders and gives off a sulfer gas that will make it run for the hills. You can usually get them at a exterminator

Cat Piss !! throw litter box contents under the porch and skunk will leave

Now your porch smells like cat piss... its a trade off

also works to keep racoons out of garbage... put a bag of cat litter in the garbage can and sit it for a week in the hot sun... you shouldn't have any racoons hitting it for the rest of the summer

yes, Cat piss can be very useful with some imagination !

As horseman said put some bait outside the trap and some in the skunk trap, they usually come out in the evening.Try and get a trap that is completely enclosed to save you from getting sprayed.

I had raccoons under my deck and after administering some moth balls those little buggers left. Its not an end all, however, as they are back. Stupid thing is, if I choose to trap them, I cant relocate them any further than 1km without breaking the law.

what about the obvious ... A picture of wendy cukier outa drive the bugger out of there..... or turn it to Stone ! or turn you to stone ! ... ok ok never mind, its too toxic ! like fuka####ma kinda ugly

you could throw some eggs under the neighbours porch ? they'll move to greener pastures heh heh

Smoke will flush him out. Or you can also use a 45 gallon drum half full of water. Lay a 2x8 on a shallow angle up to the edge of the barrel. Tack an 8" wide piece of thin plywood on the end of the board with a finishing nail. Crack an egg and dump it out on the end of the piece of plywood. Crack another egg and drip all the way back down the 2x8 to the ground. The skunk will walk up the 2x8 sniffing the egg. When he walks out on the tip, the plywood will fall off and he'll fall in the barrel and drown. They can't spray if they can't get their back feet on the ground.

Be careful if you use the sulfur bombs. They will kill the skunk if it does not have an exit. That's what they are designed to do for gophers and rats and the like.

Urine from clumped up kitty litter and moth balls is what has worked for me to get em out of the hole (skunks and marmots). I have heard human urine also works. Tenacious ones need to be trapped.
A good steel mesh (chicken wire) extended 1-2 feet under ground in an L shape with coarse gravel filler should keep them from getting back under there.
