What is the best way to market a collection of TC Pro Hunters?

A friend of mine has amassed a large collection for TC pro hunter actions, barrels and parts and has decided that he doesn't want have single shots anymore. Originally he was thinking $3,400 - $3,600 for the entire collection and sell as a lump some. So I'm asking the "experts" here. Is that a realistic valuation? And is sitting and waiting for a lump some deal for a while the smartest way to market this, or sell as whole guns, then what ever is left at the end, just barrels? Or which?
His collection is mostly in excellent condition, the guy tends to collect but never shoot anything, so most of it has spent its life in a safe and at most would have 100 rounds down the pipe, but most likely less....

It consists of:

Barrels:
Blued 220 swift heavy barrel
Stainless fluted 7-08 barrel
Stainless fluted 257 weatherby barrel
Stainless fluted MTM 204 ruger barrel
Blued 20" 30-06 barrel
Stainless 15" 243 barrel

Actions:
1 blued/wood
1 stainless/camo finish
1 stainless/black finish

Extras:
He has a bunch of different grips, fore ends and random parts that he managed to accumulate while getting these guns over the last few years

I would put the wood blued action with the pair of blued barrels. And same with the stainless/black/camo stuff. Offer the action with two same finish barrels for sale. Three sets.
 
I don't believe there is any best way to approach it in terms of selling as a lot or as pieces - the sell-ability is based on the demand and opportunity (price point). Unless he is in a hurry or in need of cash quickly, I would list them together as one large package for a bit. If there is no serious bites then start piecing it out. I am not personally into those firearms so I can't speak to value or how highly sought they are but there is some Wanted To Buy activity on them on the exchange (looks like full rifles though). There is 6 barrel and 3 actions which would make 3 nice sets, but that would be very specific to someone looking for 2 specific calibers so that may not be the best approach. I would do All (lot) or nothing (pieces lol)
 
having a collection myself, the package price is good if you want the specific calibers listed, it took a while to get mine together one part at a time

if it was my package I would list a whole rifles with a choice of barrel, then deal with the extra barrels and hardware later, sure someone may want two barrels and that would be ideal
 
Best way to market a collection of TC Pro Hunters.

Buy an old dumpster... hide the TC Pro Hunters inside it under some old rags and boxes...

Sell the old dumpster for what you paid for it.

Done Deal!

This has worked for a few guys with BCL102s in the past.
 
Sell them individually for what ever you can get... I doubt anyone would want them all unless the price was super low...
