What is the biggest Cal. you shot in a game with

Coyote with 12 gauge 3" with 00 buck at 7 yds. Just kept lip squeaking him in til I finally pulled the trigger. Like he hit a wall.
Gopher with 225 win, vaporized.
 
A bison with a .500NE and a Grizzly with a .460 Wby, a few moose and caribou with .416 Rigby, .416 Rem mag and .45/70 Ruger. Coyote with a .45/70 Win86, man did that work!

Not even my grouse come close to thaqt one!
I did however shoot a woodchuck when I was younger, with a Snider and ORIGINAL ammo.

It really hit the fan when the old man got home!!:eek:

He wasn't a WO at the time but he was in WW2:D

I do grouse all the time with my .444 marlin but I cheat I carry handloaded .444 shotshells . gotta get close 15 yards but they work well . A freind of mine head shot a rabbit with my .250 savage.
 
Head shot grouse with open sight 30-30. He stood still after the first shot whizzed by. Got him with the second one.
 
a squirrel on my buddies farm with his 30-06........you can draw the conclusion :) my father has a scar under his right eye from the hammer on a really old 12 guage.....he tried to shoot an earthworm when he was a kid
