sks is clearly the most popular russian rifle in canada at the moment... you can get them pretty much everywhere that sells guns across the country

Yep! Go into any Okanogan gun store and you will see lots of Russian SKS, some might have a M-N or two but none will have an SVT. Pity,eh!

i have a sks and a mosin no svt40 yet mostly because of price and space

SKS's at local gun stores are hitting up to 260-290 average now... CT still sells them for 210... Unless you get an A+ or VERY GOOD then its closer to 320 !

Making the SVT-40 at 320 look very appealing ! If it only wasn't so long ! lol I would totally hunt deer and black bear with it !

The sks is going to be a back up deer/black bear gun.

I would love an M44 but seem hard to find...
