What is the Oldest Mosin-Nagant Rifle You Have?

1955 Polish M44 the one and only Mosin Nagant rifle I own......funy thing is that this mil-surp has a fit and finish superior to many $600+ reifles sold today and the smoothness of the action is superior to many $800+ dollar guns......the trigger pull is a different story however.

1894 dated Chatterault M1891....first production run of the Mosin to exist...she is a Finn capture unfortunately, though she has her matching metal including the buttplate!

1904 Tula hex...........1913 Ishy hex Dragoon action /minty 42 barrel Russian double headed eagle stamp.Harold

1894 French receiver. I don't recall any details. I am not at home, so I can't dig around in the pile to look at it. Nearly 120 years since it was manufactured. Amazing.

Damn guys, love the age of some these.... I was impressed with mine being 1938. Going to be looking for older now.

I know, I thought I had one pretty low until this. I nearly forgot, mine has a double date:

I hope they didn't scrub the receiver! Just an SA marking and be done with it?

Oldest Mosin I've got is a 1929 Izhevsk is very nice shape. Just picked up a pair of round receivers so I can retire her from shooting.
