What is the Smallest Group size 5 shot!

I shot these two at 300 yards last weekend messing around comparing two loads. Shot off a bipod.

Nice! Very nice!!:sniper:

fozzy,

What rifle is that? It looks like you have it tuned in pretty good...

That's with the 308 that you built for me. I've been trying some different bullets but my 175 sierra load seems to shoot best. It's taken lots of rounds and messing around with different loads might need another barrel soon ;) ,well maybe after the Edge is built.

Going back through my notes I see that I've got a .103" group from my McMillan/Jewell/Kreiger .308. Big deal, I can't do it on demand (apparently) so it doesn't much matter. What I do feel good about is sub MOA 1000 yard groups with the same rifle; especially the groups fired with Mexican Match topped with 200 gr MK's.

Another rifle I felt really good about was my Gaillard .222. I could cut 3/8" chain links at 100 yards, and call, in front of witnesses, which side of the link I would cut. Practical stunts that I can do on demand mean much more to me than the once in a life time groups that are unlikely to be repeated. Last weekend I shot a 3 shot 1.25" and a 4 shot 1" group at 100 yard group with 300 gr cast bullets (thanks Ben) loaded in my .375 Ultra, it was the first time I had loaded that bullet so just had a few loaded to try out, so I was just tickled with that.

Boomer I agree the claim to fame .1 groups come few andf far between I am happy with with a rifle that will shoot Moa at 100y and at least give me the chance to shoot accuratly at longer distance.

Ok, here's my 700VS working...it was not a one-off group, my son almost repeated it with the 700VS, he shot a 3.5" group several days later. For you LR shooters, mirage was absent on both days, which makes shooting easier.

Shot these two with a borrowed 6ppc at a private range.

One marked .25" & the other measured .141"

Wish I could purchase the gun, it was a sleeved Rem 700 my bud bought used for $800

Could you give me some specs on that rifle? Back a few years ago I had a rifle that was custom built and sold and I have been looking for it ever since,

Here's my contribution (the 200 meter target), factory Savage BTVSS in 223, 1 in 9 twist.

This target is from my 6.5 X 55 Mauser. Ignore the group numbers on the left as they were written before I learned how to properly measure a group.

That's my best to date. I have a lot more shooting dicipline to learn before I can close up the groups.
