I've been trying to figure out what the best scope to put on a .50 for long range (1000m + ) . What are the best out there , pro's , con's. Money and weight are not factors but great glass definitely is a must. I know the gun and the scope will be way better than I am at shooting with them , but I hope to grow into them. Please help. Thanks.

For a little less than S&B.

Night Force NXS 5.5-22 x 56 in what ever reticle you desire.(or whatever maginifcation you desire for that matter.)

GC

S&B, US Optics, Premiere

Take a step down for:

Nightforce, Leupold Mark4s, Zeiss (Hendsolt are also supposed to be very good)

If I could afford it, all of my rifles would wear S&B. Until such time, most wear NF or Leupolds.

Check out the Fifty Caliber Shooters Association
Those guys live and breathe 50s......and you very seldom hear of any scopes beside Nightforce and some Leup Mark 4s.......I think that tells the tale....

If we are talking scopes that are designed specifically for long-range, benchrest/tactical applications:

March, Schmidt Bender, Premier, Hensoldt/Zeiss, US Optics, Nightforce, Vortex Razor, Leupold Mark 4, and Sightron.

Any of these brands have been, at varying degrees, specifically tested for the caliber and range application you mentioned.

That you being said, you cannot go wrong with Schmidt Bender or Premier.

Does the glass on all of these suggestions compare well with the Nightforce? Coming from a photographic background, i was not very impressed with my NF glass, though my cheap Sightron has much nicer glass.

"March, Schmidt Bender, Premier, Hensoldt/Zeiss,"

I can't speak for all of those brands that plainsight Solutions mentioned, but the ones I've listed above are as good or better than NF, optically speaking.
