What is the value of Smith and Wesson Victory Revolvers with British markings.

Kinda need more info on what your goal is. They are prohib, so can you not keep them as prohibs? Or do you want to sell them, but can't because they're prohib handguns?

I guess I am trying to find out if there is a demand for these revolvers once deactivated-----if so ---what might they be worth?

The only thing that I know is it will cost $100 to deactivate each revolver.

The British markings.

I don't think they'd have much value deactivated. I bought a very similar gun, a ww2 vintage with a R-length barrel, for like $550 right before the freeze happened. And I wouldn't have paid that much for a 38SW if not for the fact that the freeze was coming, I wanted a S&W real bad, and couldn't afford one in a more available cartridge.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think there is much of a market for deactivated revolvers in general. Would you even be able to spin or open the cylinder under current deactivation standards? I want to say no?

Don't deactivate them. The baby Jesus cries every time a perfectly serviceable firearm is dewated.

These are Prohibs---is it worth getting it deactivated for $100 ?

Thanks for any help.

If you wanted them/ one restricted, I have one new old stock barrel left for these in 5 inch, Trade Ex use to have lots, I believe there are more floating around still.
Cheaper than a weld job. People seem to buy dewatt's mainly just to have a handgun I guess.

No you can't , I sold a exc S-W model 14 ,6" 38 sp , target sights , wide target trigger and hammer for not too much more then what you paid .

Hang on to them until Trudoofus has left the building. There's a decent chance that our gun laws will become saner and more equitable, once Poilievre is running the show.

I already have a Smith & Wesson revolver---and it is not a Prohib.
It also comes with family history.
It will never be deactivated.

What I find most interesting is the commentary on how much our society has changed over the years. I ALSO possess a 12.6 that was given to a family member by the Chief of Police...almost 100 years ago now!?
