Hi just wondering if anyone could help me with this, I'm looking at a M1891/59 Carbine rated VG for condition cost is $325.00 a good price? or look elsewhere.

Also what is the average price that an M44 is going for?

Thanks again.

I don't typically touch a Mosin Nagant over $150. I'd look elsewhere. Try TradeEx (great crew over there), SFRC has some 91/30s coming in at $130 if you don't mind it being a little longer.

Good Luck.

The 91/59s are a lot less common then your $150 Soviet refurb 91/30 - hence the higher price. If you dont touch any Mosin over $150 your market must be limited to post war refurb 91/30s essentially - not that there is anything wrong with that.

In regards to value it really depends. I have not seen a 91/59 for sale recently so I cannot make an accurate call. As for the M44 - is it Russian/Polish/Hungarian/Chinese etc.. etc... Need more information.

Seems a bit pricey for a mosin but they are worth what you are willing to pay.I haven't seen one for sale for a long time. It's a bit of a remake as it was simply a cut down 91/30, not purpose built as 38s and 44s. As these carbines are going for $250 average I wouldn't pay more than that.

X1. We see them less often than M-38 and M-44 variants mais M-1891/59 carbines are not as scarce for this asked price. And don't forget that you have to add taxes and shipping (I saw this carbine too...). Too pricely IMHO.
