What is this Big Ass Gun?

there 30,000$ a unit i think could be wrong though

Something like that, a lot though.

Most of that cost is going to be the scope on it. Its not just a day sight, it has IR/Thermal-night vision, electronics for the laser range finder (which had to be reliable and accurate enough to be combat ready), the electronics to set the fuse in the 25mm grenade.

Im sure the gun is not all that expensive to make, maybe 2500-ish for the main gun components. All the fire control stuff, then integration into a single unit, is what makes it expensive.

B'ah. I applied, but they don't have any benefits or pension.

And what the hell would I want with 72 virgins??! (If it were 72 hot cougars, that knew what they were doing , then maybe.)

So, I'll stick with the feds. Just as evil, and it comes with a pension! :D

I'm with you bud...after the first few, you kinda wanna have some fun with an "experienced" broad... who wants to spend eternity teaching them tricks??? :ar15:

Seeing as, with a few exceptions(I believe there are good people everywhere), the morons kill off their women and rape the rest, it leaves the vast majority or thier virgins to be frustrated young men...

So in the grand scheme of things the hole truck load of vigins if you're stupid enough to let someone talk you into strapping a ticker to your own neck just might be the best justice of all. All eternity servicing endlessly frustrated, neckless, hairy, virgin young men... Bon Apetite:D

I think I keep fighting for the good guys as well;)

"Sportsmanlike" is fine for cards and board games, but for combat, I'd be willing to put my sporting nature on hold.

x2

- "Which way is my way?"

- "Pick up one of those rocks, get behind the boulder, and in a few minutes, the Man in Black will come running around the bend. The minute his head is in view, hit it with the rock!"

- "My way's not very sportsmanlike."

... and only $24 per round, lol!

In the summer of 2010, the United States Army began field testing the XM25 in Afghanistan, with an initial per unit cost of the early models range from US$30,000 to $35,000. The Army plans to purchase 12,500 XM25s in 2011 at a cost of $25,000 each and have them fielded by 2012, enough for one XM25 system in each infantry squad and special forces team. According to U.S. Army project manager for new weapons, Colonel Douglas Tamilio, the rounds for the XM25 will cost about $24 apiece.

The Muslims must have a misprint because its not 72 virgins waiting for them on the other side, its 72 (angry) Virginians.
