Hi all,
I need to know what this is and when it was made. It is my fathers and I want to inherit it, but it is prohibited, and I dont have 12/6.

If I can make it an antique I may have a chance.
Thanks

I think it is a .22 or maybe .25. There is no writing under the tape.
This is my first post with pictures, hope it works :redface:

If you have a restricted PAL, you can take ownership of it under 12(7) inherited. Not too many know of this, but that's how I took ownership of my fathers Luger. You have to apply as a collector when you do the paperwork.

that would be a 12/6, the bbl is very short. No idea to age or make. Sure is cool though, Huh! Havent shot it but it takes .22 shorts.

if it is prohib and he is 12.6 get him to purchase all the cool stuff you can't legally own then you will get to inherit it all with 12.7

It looks like the real deal Derringer before bullets were invented. I also belive that you won't need a pal for it. Here is a link of what Marstar is selling that looks almost like it;

Ask the mods to move this to the antquie fourm for more insight on this rare find.

Not hardly, This a 22 short, so no way to call it a antique.
I have not seen one in 25, but have seen one in .32 ( rim)
These are as a rule " muff" guns- belguim, cheap and could be shot
if real brave(ie-stupid) some could be O.K. with cb caps.
I have had a few and they would be great for the 12-7 class.
