What is this I found in my brass pile?

Next to it is a normal 303 case. Kind of need, not sure where it came from.

Looks like a necked down 303 case. Looks like it is splitting as well. Is it new, fired by you or pick up at the range brass?

Exactly, not sure who thought it was blown out to make a huge 303...

Anyway, ID on the small one it .255" looks resized, and the normal one is .313" not sized.

Is that inside or outside measurement?

Could be 6mm Musgrave, or 25/303 epps depending, no?

If it has been sized, then .257"
the 25/303 is not that uncommon, and quite popular "down under"
Eagleye.

When I was at CIL we used to make 25-303 and ship it to Oz. Looked like that.
