What is this? It's russian but what?

Can someone help me identify what this pellet rifle is? All I know is that it's russian and its .177 calibre.

That's what I thought too. Mine was the pipsqueak Slavia 618. Couldn't even bust a pop bottle but it slayed tree rats. My buddy had a 624 and it would kill gophers easily but our "rich kid" friend had an even better one with a medallion in the stock chambered in .22 cal. He could bust bottles and gophers waaay out there.

It's written on the label - IJ-22 (or izh-22, if you like it better). Russian basic lavel airgun. Every Russian boy used to have a lot of experience with it in public shooting kiosks (called in a French way "tir" in Russia).

A bit off topic,but I had 2 Slavia .177 pellet guns when I was a kid in the 70's.One was a medium sized weapon of moderate power.The other was a monster big gun that would almost drop a moose.Most of my friends also had them.They were probably sold thru SIR or one of the hardware chains of the era.What ever happened to them?I never see one for sale.They were Czech made.

I had one when I was a kid. Brass sleeve inside a steel barrel. Mine was .177 and OK power til the spring shattered. I still have the plastic emblem somewhere in a junk box.
