What is this rifle ...

I watched GI Jane starring Demi Moore last night and the guy who gets shot in the leg near the end with her is shooting what type of rifle? They are US troops but it looked like an FNC1 type rifle ... isn't that a CDN issue gun? Anyone got pics?

Viggo Mortensen played Master Chief. Before he got shot you mean right? If so, he was using a HK PSG1. Hardly standard SEAL weaponry I think but it made for a good movie.

If he was the SPR guy then yes it would be, the PSG is used as an SPR for many of the best units around the world.
