What is this setup (Movie Rifle)

looks like a night vision pvs14 with an ACOG in front, for laughs I might test out the setup to see how it performs

ACOGs are notorious for tight eyeboxes, hence why they still teach the nose to charging handle idea even with optics. This gal ain't seeing s^&* with that setup.

Other than her stance being bladed a bit much, yup Acog with a pvs14. Very legitimate NV set up. Doesnt look like shes engaging at low light levels, but looks proper if NV is required. Looks like a Holosun on top of the Acog.

I need to know which show it is so I can avoid it...

Did anyone see "Terminal List: Dark Wolf"? Wow... Some serious technical advisors on that one. I'm not an expert, but I didn't see any rifle or handgun setups that were suspect.

Hollywood crap, the more you can attach the more tactical it looks, but most will believe it will shoot into outer space.

Jack carr is a real gear head and im sure he wouldn't stand for anything unrealistic. I really like his books because they go into in depth descriptions of a lot of the gear.

Not trying to be "that guy," but the eye relief on the ACOG seems a bit long. I don't run one, but I thought it was 2-3". That setup looks more like 9" (but that's what I tell all the girls...)

Well,,,, for a NV engagement, everything is proper on tbat rifle. Sorry "operators" but it is correct. Is the photo taken just prior to her shooting? I dunno.
I find the show hilarious and take it for wbat its worth.as the.most PC cop show Ive ever seen. But the above photo shows all a correct set up. Whether or not sbe needs the NV, and laser, who knows, its Hollyweird.

I disagree.

You can’t mount a PVS 14 behind an ACOG.

I mean you can… it just won’t work well at all.

You can put it in front of the ACOG but that’d also be kinda crappy.

Unless you’re talking about the Knights Armament UNS-SR but that gets mounted in front of the ACOG.

Edit to add… you might be kidding around, I can’t tell.
