It's ust a No.4 Lee-Enfield rebarelled in .308 and fancied up with a new stock and sights. The ring that usually seperated the two-piece stock has been ground down a bit so as to fit inside the one-piece stock.

It is not one of the purpose built .308's, just another sporterized Lee-Enfield, only in a slightly more modern calibre.

Saw the ad, thought it was an interesting conversion.
The barrel has a Nock's Form flat, and there appear to be markings on the barrel breech and receiver ring. I suspect that the rifle was a DCRA/CAL 7.62mm conversion that has been extensively reworked into a sporting rifle.
I doubt very much that the butt socket has been ground down a bit. Looks as if has been completely removed, and tangs added to the receiver and trigger guard, to do a complete one piece stock conversion. Ellwood Epps used to do one piece conversions like this, years ago. There were others. A .303 magazine is useless for a .308 rifle. An L42 magazine could be fitted, or a Sterling.
