So, I picked up a single shot, I think bsa martini a while back.

Problem is, I think itll need to be rebarreled since its 22-3000, which seems to be a vintage wildcat based on the 250-3000 savage?

I saw that gun on recent auction I believe.
I have a cartridge marked G & H 22-3000, (Griffen & Howe)
It looks basically a 25-20 SS (Single Shot), necked down & blown out like an Ackley Improved would be.

not a bad looking piece.

as above a MkIII martini that was converted to a sporting rifle.

rebarrel is not that hard but the extractor will either need to match up with the current cartridge base or it will need to be modified.

you may want to stick to a rimmed case.

oh and the cocking indicator is installed 90 deg off.

I believe you will have a bit of "uphill climb" - finding something that is suitable for left hand shooter and not much for recoil - maybe a .223 Rem?? I have seen videos of you firing a 7.62x39 and I think that went okay for you? Perhaps that left handed Rem 788 with .243 Win barrel worked out?

Yes, my zastava 7.62x39 is good. Yeah, finding a LH rifle is more difficult.

I’d find the dies and make some ammunition for it. That’s just me as I like martini’s and oddball cartridges.
Buffalo Arms still makes the loaded ammo, and Graff, as well as Starline make cases.

It's a smoking hot cartridge, and that Martini is a very strong action.

It's also a throat burner.

Most of the rifles chambered for it won't shoot bullets heavier than 55-60 grains.

The hard work has been done to convert it.

That scope base is very rigid when it's screwed down properly.

OP, shoot that old girl and get a very nice surprise.
