What is this?

That is this... break barrel revolver. Cal is 38 S&W. No other markings except '42 on the barrel.

I was thinking thats what it was but there are no markings on it except the '42 and I figured that was the year of production. That and .38.

what are the markings, might also be an australian made revolver.. as they used this pattern.. had plastic grips with a large brass disc screwed to the grips..

the australian ones were not well marked and were produced by a combine harvester factory..... howard harvesters or some such name.. looks to me like ti could be australian
