Fired Simunition training round. Plastic projectile. The telescoping piston projecting from the case allows the ammunition to cycle the firearm. Made in a number of calibers. I have been told that the bullet really stings.

No tip on it,it is a white plastic peace.Found it at the range in the gravel,it's been there a while.

Simmunition, I think it is called. Bullet has paint. Police use it for tactcal training.

Yep thats actually the older version of simunition , ive got one just like that except it i found the undamaged fired tip with the paint still in it , and i got some of the new ones as well , both fired and unfired . the new ones look much better .

It's a General Dynamics manufactured 9mm Simmunition round.
It fires a small pre-segmented plastic shell filled with a gooey bright coloured dye paint. Usually in Red Blue or White.
And yes it hurts A LOT when you catch one in the fingernail lol

Its actually a Cartridge 9mm Practice, Dye Marking. Its missing the "Projectile" which would be a plastic bullet with either red, blue or green dye. Its used to train with the simunition markers...

IVI = Industries Valcartier Inc., they make most of our small arms for the CF.

Ouch. Where were the hits? Centre mass? Any kind of body armour involved?
