what is you favorite powder /load combo for 308 shooting 180's

Most accurate powder in most of my 308's with 180's and 190's has been 4064. - dan
I started with 748 in my 308 but switched to Varget. I heard varget was not very temperature sensitive and wanted to give it a try. Turns out it worked just as well as 748 IMO.
Sorry I don't have a load for u with 180gn bullets. any idea what gn and OAL your gona start with and max ur gona go to ?

not really sure yet. Just ordered a set of dies today.I am going to be loading barnes 180 ttsx's. I have several powders at home to try. I have some reloader 15, imr 4350, 3031, 4064 and some winchester 748. The gun is a rem 760 carbine (18" barrel). I have loaded for several years for but never for the 308. I didn't use it that much after i got a .300 win mag. I am going to try working up a load for it so that my son can use it for a spring grizzly hunt. I want them as fast as possible without sacraficing accuracy. I'll check my reloading manuals and decide from there. Just nice to get a few opinions from others as well. Thanks for your thoughts
Yes, they make them, they're not cheap though. Really, unless you're feeding a full auto or doing commercial loading, it's probably not worth it. Your money though, so have at it. - dan
