What is your brand loyalty and why?

My vote would be for parker hale if they still existed. My .308 is just the best for the price out of any rifle i had the chance to
Shoot. I wanted to buy an x bolt from browning recently and when i touched it i wanted to burn it.

I've probably already said this in this thread somewhere, but I am at the age where everything kinda blurs together... so I will say again... my choices are the working man's tools = Ruger M77's & No.1's

If a person where to guess by looking at what I have, it would be either Winchester, or Enfield!
Seriously, I varied tastes, and it would be easier to pick the brands I don't have. Not that there is anything wrong with them either, just have yet to get around to it.

I don't buy my vehicles or shooting gear with "resale value" as foremost in my decision making.

Now that I'm older, kids are gone and no longer calling Dad for money, I have become a "value for what I get" shopper instead of "buy what's cheap and stock up on the duct tape to keep it working".

If I can "see" the value at whatever cost, that's what I choose.

Because of that of my last seven new rifles, four of them have been Weatherby Vanguard II's - outstanding "value" for what you pay. And when it comes to glass, again, in the value for what you get, I just can't seem to stray too far from Burris scopes unless they just don't build what I'm after.

So whenever I start looking for something new, those are the first two brands I look to. That hasn't stopped me from buying a couple Savage rifles and and a Henry, topping one of the two Savages with a Vortex scope because they fit the exact "want" in the combination, but they still were "second choices".

I am not brand loyal to any one manufacturer, but do like falling block rifles and SxS guns fir hunting.
For match rifles as Long as they are accurate I'm happy regardless of brand.

I know I would be a dedicated (for life) fan of a Hagn fallingblock custom if I could afford one! :)

Holy moly! That baby is beautiful! Whats the price tag on that?
I love falling blocks.
I have had the best accuracy with a browning model 1885 in 7mm mag from the 80's. Better than the $3500 tacticool rifles with adjustable everything.

Now I have become brand specific with glass. I used to love the leupold mk4 and swore by it. But now I got a Nightforce ATACR and it's night and day difference between the two side by side. If I didn't get rid of the mk4 then it probably would have been demoted to a .22 or something I didn't really care about.
The problem is I can't afford 10 Nightforces.

Don't dip your finger in a pie that you can't afford, it may make you hungry.

A rifle like that starts at $25,000 USD and goes up from there. They are nothing but pure perfection in all regards.
Of course, when you buy something like that, you buy for life. There's a very small market for them. I've been lusting for one for a while, but in the end, I would rather have 10 very excellent rifles that fit different needs, than one "super-excellent work of art" that would fit a few needs.

No particular loyalty, but if I look at what I have it would appear my preference leans towards Winchester with rimfire, centerfire, and shotguns.

I like my model 70's pre and post classics, Remmies for the range mostly, Savage 99's for nostalgia and a few oddballs to fill in the gaps

I hunt primarily with Remington bolt guns (700s) but my racks hold many, many different makes and models.........no Mossbergs, Norincos, Hatsans or other assorted junk.......my Savages all have levers and my scopes are either Leupold or Zeiss (not the conquest or terra)
