What is your bxn # of Czech 7.62x39?

i've got some '78 and '85.

i haven't chrony'ed the '78, but the '85 has a velocity of more than 2500fps.

Mig-25 , I'd be interested in any other 7.62X39 chrony results you have . What are you shooting it out of ? SKS ? VZ58 ?

Well it is the Vz58 for me. I ate all 1120 rounds of the 1972 stuff and the velocity was low.
I got a chance to chrono some of it and got 2200- 2300 fps. So ya it was low. However I took some 1972 norinco silver box and shot that just to see what the difference was. the norinco was on average 250 fps faster than the czech.

Anyone try to chrono the Hugarian yet? curious as to the fps on average
 
i was using a yugo M59 sks (not the 59/66). i was going to run the bxn 78 and some of the hungarian over the chrony, but it was threatening to rain on that particular day and i didn't feel like setting it up.

i also have a few boxes of norinco and some russian stuff laying around, be interesting to do a comparison.

i might do this at the next opportunity.
 
K, now compair this with a box of Norinco and see if you notice anything different.
