what is your coyote and bobcat rig

I'm very happy with my off-the-shelf Sako M75V chambered in .204ruger, topped with a Bushnell Elite 4200 4X12-50mm scope.

I'd recommend a variable scope. Every coyote set is a bit different, requiring different magnifcation.

A removable magazine is nice. Especially if your in and out of the truck a between sets.

A heavy barrel is not really necessary for coyote hunting and the extra weight can be a real drag when walking through knee deep snow.

i run a savage 223 with a bull barrel and bi pod i like to set up though im not much for driving by and running out of the truck for a 400 yard running shot.
223 is good i love mine its cheap to shoot fast and reliable
i use it for yotis
beavers and gophers
pretty round about rig
.17 works good in the truck though

OK I know it's not what you are looking for but for the next year at least, varmints get the marlin 45-70 because it's more fun than the .22's. I've been trying to see a coyote for a couple months now..

I only see them from paved roads driving with my girlfriend, they are mocking me.

I use a Norinco JW-105 with a BSA SWEET223 scope. It will shoot consistantly under half inch all day with 50 grain VMAXs (or pretty much anything else). I have pulled off confirmed Gopher kills past 400 yards with this gun! Its not the prettiest, but its a true tackdriver!

Mine is a 77V Ruger [Old tang safety] chambered in 220 Swift. Or, for closer in, either my BRNO 465 22 K-Hornet or a M700 "Classic" in 222 Remington. Regards, Eagleye.

CZ 527 American in 221 Fireball with a Leupold VXII 3-9x40 LR duplex in some Talley rings

40 gr Nosler bt @ 3185 fps, shoots great, avg group around .65" for 5 shots

CZ527 223 with a Nikon Monarch 6-16. Pretty crisp glass-might even be better than my Leupy. 5.2lb gun without the scope. She's a leftie too.

Stevens 200 in .223 with a Bushnell 3200 2-10.A 22-250 or .243 has better ballistics but I believe every serious gun owner should have at least one .223 for ammo availability and affordability reasons.
