What is Your Favorite 10mm Handgun?

S&W 610's...

A 4.25" barreled "Mountain Gun" profile S&W Model 610 would be a cool wheelgun to own.

NAA.

I have a G20 with after market .40 and .357SIG barrels. Will be getting an after market 10mm and 9.25 Dillon barrel this year.

Would love to own both a Smith 10 series 1006, and 1066.

Also gotta have a new Bren Ten when they arrive...........

Glock 29 with Lone Wolf barrel.

I forget the loads... but when firing, the next round in the mag would flip up vertical and stove pipe. I used that as an indicator of when a load was getting "too hot" then backed it off.

I'll look in my books to see if I can find out what they were (the loads)... if I recall correctly they were 200gr loads under 800x.

Been there, haven't experienced it since I started sticking to published loads though.

As for my favourite It's hard to pick. I would say the Glock is easiest to shoot and the Dan Wesson Cbob is nicest to look at. I got to try out a few Kimbers which were pretty nice too. I am not much for 1911 style guns or I would likely own one of each.

Forgot to add I am impatiently waiting for the Vltor Bren Ten! Very impatiently!

Question on the glock 10mm mag how much room is there in OAL, the 10mm is around 1.26" and I am wondering if the 7.62x25 at 1.37" would fit?

How this for you guys that want a revolver in 10mm we just need to talk S&W into making it with a 4.20" barrel.

Nighthawk is also offering 10mm's now nice but holy sh*t are they expensive...

Here is Nighthawk's Tim Lehr's response to a fellow that asked him about what models will be chambered in 10mm:

We can build the 10mm in Talon, GRP, Enforcer, Predator 5" models. The T-3 has the Officers size frame and there are no mags available for it in 10mm.

I have a g20 but not too much experience with other 10mms. I did buy the G20 because I do not trust Deltas and would rather have the theoretical ability to put 15 rounds in the mags anyway. I don't know how I feel about the 1006s...never shot one but I did have a 4506 years ago that was a nice gun.

I have also been keeping an eye on the Fortis/Bren Ten project...interesting for sure.

I know I don't REALLY need a 10mm but it is such a nice round...love the big THUMP.

Even seeing my brass mixed in on the floor with piles of 9mm brass is kind of awesome. I feel like every piece of my brass is saying, "sup, #####es" to the 9mm.

my favorite 10mm is my Bren Ten... sentimental that way. I have a few 10mms, but my 5" S&W 610 and the DW CBOB are a couple more top picks for me. Just about any 10mm is a 'good' one for me though.

Sucks about Dan Wesson not making 10mm - hope it's just a rumor.

I have a S&W 1076, S&W 1006, and a Colt Double Eagle.

They all shoot nice, but I'm leaning towards the 1076.

My favourite handgun out of the three I own is my 3rd gen Glock 20, which I bought about four years ago. It's nice to have night-sights and an accessory rail, as opposed to earlier models. It's also the only handgun I have with those advantages.

I've always been interested in the 10mm ever since I was a kid and had a fascination with the M41 Pulse Rifle (like the one in my sig) from Aliens which fired a 10mm caseless round. When I saw the G20 marked with firing 10x25mm AUTO ammunition, I just knew I had to have it! Then, I didn't know too much about the advantages and disadvantages to 10mm but quickly learned and am very grateful I bought it. It's a hell of a good cartridge, but as with most higher calibers, needs much more practice to become proficient. Likewise is a good powerful alternative to the good ol' .45 ACP (11.4mm).

The 10x25mm AUTO I would choose as my primary, any day, over what's common. Too bad it never took swing like it should have.
